new Sony Bravia 55xd8599bu only receives facetiles fromimac

I'm new and apologise but cannot find resolution to this. I have managed to send pics from imac to Sony Bravia and hoped to watch slideshow off them all. But I seem to have facetiles only in year order but I don't store or know facetiles on imac. Can someone help me to load all my pics as I see them on the imac (ie not facetiles) and get them into a slideshow please? Thank you
