Need Help Transcoding Hulu on Sony NSZ-GT1

I have tried various transcoding settings and haven't had any luck.

That seemed like it was more intended for telephones. Skifta and rockplayer light don't work on the the sony blu-ray player.

My other file types are working fine on serviio as they did on mediatomb, I was just trying to see if anyone was able to assist with getting the transcoding working. The transcoded file seems to be compatible once I change the extension so I was hoping there would be an easy fix to make this work.

you cant transcode for this device as it only supports mp4 and you cant transcode to mp4.

It means the renderer is asking for a byte range which is not right or supported. I'd need more from the log (happened before the point you posted).

Maybe I am wrong but it seems that since I am able to play the transcoded file if I change the extension shouldn't it be compatible? (I don't know a lot about transcoding)

OK, it's asking for a byte range which Serviio specifically says it doesn't support for this file. Thus the device doesn't support this kind of transfer.

It can't on my side. You'd have to ask Sony to fix the player not to ask Serviio for things it doesn't do.

Sony?? They will never fix that -- I will anyway never buy a Sony product again. But now I have it and since there are many folks out there with Sony Google TV products, please allow me to log this as a feature request for a future serviio release. Maybe there is a workaround to give the Sony player what it asks for w/o too much development effort.
