Sony KDL-32EX525 can't see Serviio

I have a D-link router which is wired to the TV's ethernet. The TV connects to the internet without problems.
Serviio is on my PC which connects wirelessly. I can ping the TV. Serviio finds it well. But the TV doesn't see it...

Networking is not my forte, so bear with me...

Router IP: 192.168.0.1

PC running XP, IP: 192.168.0.102

TV IP: 192.168.0.100

Running netstat -an |find /i "listening", this is line is in the output among others:
TCP 0.0.0.0:8895 0.0.0.0:0 LISTENING

On Serviio console, I entered the PC's IP in Network Settings.
The server is running, I don't know where else to look!
Any help?
Thanks!

Re: Sony KDL-32EX525 can't see Serviio

are the correct ports open in your firewall?

  Code:
My device doesn't see Serviio

This could be caused by you having multiple IP addresses on the machine and Serviio binding to a wrong one. Insert IP address of the machine running Serviio into 'Bound IP address' field in Network Settings section in the console or pass system variable serviio.boundAddr including the IP address when starting the server.

Also make sure that TCP port 8895 and UDP 1900 are open in your firewall.

If you are on a Linux based OS, make sure you set up multicast routes properly.

If on Windows, you can push Serviio service down in starting order.

On Serviio console:
- Clear the device list by removing each devices --> Save
- Stop Serviio service (exit serviio console)

On Sony TV menu:
- Clear all server list :Home -> Network -> Server Display Settings (options -> delete)

- Restart serviio service.
- Check on serviio console (refresh)
- Check on Sony Menu TV.

Thanks! Doing this step by step worked like a charm. :)
Now, one more thing: I don't see AVI files - what could I be missing regarding transcoding?
Thanks everyone

Check on Serviio console Which profile is selected? "Sony Bravia TV" or "Sony Bravia TV 2011" ?
