Sony Bravia 52XBR9 OS X & MKV

Hi,

I'm new to serviio. I've set it up on my Mac running Snow Leopard and I have the Sony Bravia profile selected for the TV. I can play AVI files just fine but MKV are nowhere to be found. I've reviewed /Applications/Serviio.app/Contents/Resources/Java/config/profiles.xml and the configuration does seem to be in order under the Bravia section. ffmpeg -i of one of my mkv files is pasted below:

  Code:
Fmpeg version UNKNOWN, Copyright (c) 2000-2011 the FFmpeg developers
built on Jan 12 2011 19:51:48 with gcc 4.0.1 (Apple Inc. build 5493)
  configuration: --enable-static --disable-shared --bindir=/tmp/ffmpeg --disable-ffplay --disable-ffserver --enable-libmp3lame --enable-pthreads --disable-mmx --extra-ldflags=-L/tmp/static/lib --extra-cflags=-I/tmp/static/include
  libavutil     50.36. 0 / 50.36. 0
  libavcore      0.16. 0 /  0.16. 0
  libavcodec    52.108. 0 / 52.108. 0
  libavformat   52.92. 0 / 52.92. 0
  libavdevice   52. 2. 3 / 52. 2. 3
  libavfilter    1.72. 0 /  1.72. 0
  libswscale     0.12. 0 /  0.12. 0
[matroska, webm @ 0x1009600] Estimating duration from bitrate, this may be inaccurate

Seems stream 0 codec frame rate differs from container frame rate: 47.95 (48000/1001) -> 23.98 (48000/2002)
Input #0, matroska,webm, from '/Users/khurram/Movies/Transformers Prime/Transformers Prime - S01E01 - Darkness Rising.mkv':
  Duration: 00:22:00.23, start: 0.000000, bitrate: 384 kb/s
    Stream #0.0: Video: h264, yuv420p, 1280x720 [PAR 1:1 DAR 16:9], 23.98 fps, 23.98 tbr, 1k tbn, 47.95 tbc
    Stream #0.1(eng): Audio: ac3, 48000 Hz, 5.1, s16, 384 kb/s
At least one output file must be specified

Snippet from the Bravia section of profile.xml:
  Code:

Do you mean that MKV are not added to the library?
Do you have a look at the Series folder ?
Transformers Prime - S01E01 - Darkness Rising.mkv
Seems to be a serie:
http://www.thetvdb.com/?tab=season&seri ... 6891&lid=7

Please enable detailed logging (see my signature link), clean the log file, then restart the serviio service. Before you could rename a mkv file to be refreshed by serviio.
I suppose : /Applications/Serviio.app/Contents/Resources/Java/log/serviio.log

Re: Sony Bravia 52XBR9 OS X & MKV

Hi,

I've been crazy busy so I could not troubleshoot and generate the log file with debug option. I've attached it with this post though. Also I don't see anything under series so I access my videos under Folders.

Thanks.

Re: Sony Bravia 52XBR9 OS X & MKV

It's been added and you should see it in the Folders view (I can see you browsed there and the file description was served)
