Bravia KDL- EX700 and Serviio

Can anyone confirm getting Serviio to work with Bravia KDL- EX700?

I run a Mac (WiFi), 46EX700 (Wired) to a D-Link 635 (HW: B1) with static IP's. I've checked so the ports aren't busy and no firewall.

Neither can see each other and i just read:
viewtopic.php?f=5&t=4341&hilit=mac
Which ends with Sony saying his TV (doesn't say model) is "not fully dlna compatible"... (Which is why I hate DLNA)

As per the thread you linked to, that was solved when it was discovered the end device didn't do media streaming. It wasn't that it wasn't compliant, its a whole feature set it doesn't even have.

Does your router support UPNP ? Is it enabled ? Have you upgraded it to the latest firmware ?
If no, have you got the right ports open ?
Firewall is off on the mac for sure and ports allowed ?

Hi,
I've checked the router and it has latest firmware, supports UPNP and it's enabled (by default). The ports TCP 8895 and UDP 1900 are open.
OSx Firewall allows all traffic by default if i remember right. Doing a portscan reveals Serviio has the ports open (j4....something).

I'm not at the Mac atm since it is at my parents home, but I will do further testing when i get there next time.

Thank you

I have a KDL60EX700 and I can confirm serviio works for me just fine.
Never had issues for the past 6 months or so.
My setup : windows pc, tv connected via wireless repeater to main router(e3000).
Have you tried going to settings on tv and refreshing media servers. Try doing that after restarting serviio service.

I've rebooted the Mac and refreshed the TV. I'm gonna bring my PC laptop on tuesday. I have a feeling it's the Mac, i'm not an expert on them. But thanks for the reply. I have a 46NX720 myself and i have to tell you, i do miss the Favourites button on that remote!
