Cannot access server - Please check server settings

The dreaded message has appeared again after today's MS Windows updates.

Although my TV showed a "live" serviio logo, attempts to view video or pictures resulted in the message in the heading.
Music was slightly different, just got the never ending progress gif.

Tried stopping and re-starting Serviio from "All Progs" .....no change.
Viewed home network page on my router, nothing changed, both TV and PC have their own fixed addresses.

Opened Console and checked addresses, both TV and "Windows Media Player" which is how Serviio always "sees" my PC both addresses tally with the Router details, however as always, TV shows as active whilst PC (WMP) has the red inactive flag, (never have understood the logic of that :? ).
Stopping and re-starting Serviio from the console also achieves no change.

Finally, I switched off the TV and re-started it about 10 minutes later....result dead Serviio icon, I'm now unable to contact Serviio at all!! :(

What on earth do Redmond do that throws the Kill-Switch?
and more importantly...how do we foil their attempts?

Not sure if it's significant that although Serviio is dead, I can still access all music, pictures and those videos that windows will condescend to show from the "Windows logo" which still shows as live....despite Serviio console declaring it "inactive".

Well! thanks for that. :|
Turns out that having both TV and PC powered down overnight, all was as well as could be expected the following day....
