First I like to say tanks e congratulations for the Serviio! Is best media server software that a I see... And recommend to my friends.

situation: Most of the files. Full HD mkv dual audio (Portuguese / English) and subtitles in. Srt

expected: Watching movies with subtitles in Sony.

needed: Convert the files. Mkv? If yes, in what format? Embed subtitles? If so, how?

Hope: =) No need to convert files. At most only embedding the subtitles.

Sony devices does not support subtitles over DLNA, yet.(only with some AVI/MPEG4-ASP codec for Bluray Player)
No solution with Serviio for the moment.

Tks for reply.
I read in the Sony forum that subtitles in Sony TVs never work because they think that is impossible make a firmware update that enable this feature. :(
