SMP-N200 stuttering
Hi, I've been browsing the forum and have found some posts with similar problems but nothing that was helping me. Whenever I playback mkv files on the player it stutters rather frequently. Seems like it happens more often whenever more is going on. For instance on every HBO show I watch, the beginning static stutters at least 2 times a second. Doesn't show the buffering symbol whenever it freezes though. If I pause the video and give it time it will play through most of it smoothly, but I have to pause it for 2 minutes at least to get halfway through a 30 minute show.
I am using the Sony BD Player / SMP profile. Never had any lag using the generic profile, but then again I couldn't even play mkv's using the generic one xD. I am using a wireless connection, and it'd be really inconvenient for me to wire it (as it's in a completely different room than the computer) so I'm trying everything possible before even thinking of going that route
Whenever I noticed the lag I changed the transcoding section in the Serviio console to use 2 cores (As I have a dual core processor), I unchecked produce best video quality, and eventually changed the audio to downmix to stereo, all with no noticeable effect.
I have also updated ffmpeg to the latest version and changed my computers IP from dynamic to static, both with no result. I ran the bitrate viewer as suggested in a post I saw on here on a couple of my videos, and they all peaked around 12,000-14,000 kb's which was at the very beginning with the HBO opening, and never went over the 5000 line the rest of the video. So I'm fairly certain it's not bitrate causing the problem.
I was going to post a detailed log but the damned thing is a little too detailed, even with these settings in log4j.xml

Any sort of help would be much appreciated, as I would probably just avoid MKV files in the future instead of using an ethernet. It would just be nice to not have to do that.
