Sony PS3

Search for helpers for this topic : admin ( ) , moderator, beta tester, dlna master, etc.... Because I need help, anyone too I gess, let know here if you use and can solve PS3 device for lovely serviio.

I use my PS3 with Serviio a lot. I am still quite new to transcoding, media servers, dlna and I am always looking and searching for info. I myself was wondering why there was no topic for gaming consoles. I also use Xbox 360 along with Serviio. Would be willing to help with this topic as much as my limited knowledge will allow. I think I am good at following written directions, though so maybe with proper instruction, I could perform testing

I'm a bit confused what your after, do you have a question how to use the PS3 with Serviio ? Or are you both asking for a new section under "Serviio Support & Help" for PS3 and Xbox 360 ? That section of the forum has a general area for any other devices and PS3 fits under Sony or general. I'm not sure they need a specific section just for them as they are both a fixed device, well supported, easy to setup and working fine for many people. When issues do come up they tend to be more to do with the persons home network or install PC causing problems.
