Serviio v1.2 and mp4 videos

hi all,
sincere apologies if this is posted somewhere else on a different thread.
I've downloaded serviio 1.2 today, installed and then gone to watch my stuff and it no longer finds any mp4s (usually series episodes) amongst my stored content; avis are fine - and it has the folder placeholders but not content anymore?
was working on earlier version of serviio earlier today
current device is a sony bluray - but cant see it being this

Check your device has the correct profile assigned to it in the console, if it's an older model it will probably have the wrong one as the Sony profiles were split up to better support new features of recent devices.
