Best profile settings for KDL-32W5500

Hi,

Does anyone have any advice on best profile settings for Sony KDL-32W5500 ?

It seems to have issues with a lot of 1080p MKVs / MP4s etc. The symptoms are skipping. Sometimes a file will play fine for 10 / 20 seconds then start skipping. I think it plays 720p files fine. I have tried modifying the Bravia 2009 profile setting maxHeight="720", but doesnt seem to make much a difference, other than some files which previously just had audio now have video. I guess it could be the bitrate of the video thats causing the issue, I'm not sure exactly what the TV supports. Appreciate any tips . Cheers

I played around with maxvbitrate on the 2009 Bravia profile and that seems to have improved things somewhat , not sure how much that affects quality of the stream...

It looks like I need to set maxvbitrate to 12000, maxheight to 720 to get mkvs to play without stuttering. quad core pc is at about 85% cpu while transcoding .. not really fully understanding mpeg / mkvs etc not sure if I could achieve better results
