Panasonic DMP-BD110

Does anyone else have this model BluRay player and working DLNA?

Mine shows the menu, and has played m2ts files with Twonky (which I've just removed in favour of Serviio).
It will not play any other format though. Just says 'Can't connect' even though it is.

My second player, DMP-BD77 does play fine.

Re: Panasonic DMP-BD110

I have this player, and it will work fine with my networked files (although I have issues with some particular formats). What I don't have working is trying to use online resources. I have installed plugins for PBS Kids, Crackle, MyiPlayer, Veetle and a number of Hulu categories. On my Panasonic ST50 Plasma I can stream these fine, so I know the plug-ins are working, but on the BD110 I am unable to see anything. I get the file cannot be played error. I can't even scroll the list of sites on the player. If I try to see more than the first page, I get an error that I can't connect to the server, which is silly.

Anyway, long explanation for the fact that yes, I have a BD110 player and its DLNA function works fine. I also have two Windows 7 computers in the house that I can stream from as well with no issues.

Re: Panasonic DMP-BD110

When you get the disconnect error durng browsing, are there any errors in the log? if not, can you enable detailed log and recreate the disconnection, the post the log. And did you make any changes on the Presentation tab in Serviio console?

Hi Zip. If that question was to me, here's what was in the log for that time period last night:

Attached is a snippit of my log with debug enabled. I only copied the section that pertained to my attempt to scroll the list of locations from my Serviio server to my BluRay player. Well, I tried to attach but I can't find the button for it on the forum, so I'll just paste it here. 10.0.0.27 is the IP address of my BD Player. edit: I found the wayt to attach just as I hit submit. It figures...

Thanks for the replies atc98092 and Petr. Still no luck here, but will muddle on. BD 110 may just be a bit rubbishy.

I can't remember if I've used default. I have it set on Panasonic Viera (2010), since there's no specific Panasonic BluRay Player presentation. It seems to work well with just about everything I have ripped to my network. The only issue I have is playing a ripped BluRay movie giving me an audio track I don't want. Usually it seems to be Spanish or French, but some movies (such as Star Wars) give me the descriptive voice service. I have no idea if my ripping software (WinX Blu-Ray Decrypter) is jumbling the default audio track. My Sony SNP N200 allows selecting different audio tracks, and I can get the english HD track that way. Doesn't do me any good in the bedroom though, because that's where the BD110 is. :(

Re: Panasonic DMP-BDT110

Zip,

I have settled on the Viera (2010) profile for this BD player. It's the only one that seems to work correctly with MKV files. I still have an issue though. If I pause the movie, it won't continue again after hitting play. Same if I try to fast forward. It just freezes. I have to stop and start, which of course returns me to the beginning of the video.

Also, I still can't play any online resource. I get a "Cannot play file" immediately after hitting play. What's the best way to troubleshoot this? I know the online resource is configured correctly, as they will play on my Viera ST30 TV and Sony SNP-N200 streaming box.

Thanks!
Dan
