MKV Files do not display

I have a Panasonic Blu-Ray player DMP-BDT230 and version 1.2.1 of Serviio (still on eval of Pro Edition). When I view the index on my TV, I see all my folders, all my AVI's and MP4's, but no MKV's. Folders containing MKV's are shown as empty, and the one MKV in the root simply does not appear. It is a perfectly good file (I can play it on my computer with VLC). Running Win 7 Ultimate SP1. Source is Twonky on a WD MyBook NAS. Any ideas?

Try a different Viera profile.

Re: MKV Files do not display
Petr;
Thanks for the suggestion. I just tried all three Viera profiles, switching BD player off and on, switching server off and on. No joy - still do not see MKVs. Any other ideas?

Re: MKV Files do not display
Sorry folks, I was getting confused with what my TV is seeing and reporting. There are two problems. The WD NAS has a built-in Twonky server, which the TV sees except for MKV files. That's a Twonky problem. And the Serviio server on my desktop machine is also seen by the TV, but the files on the NAS (which is mapped as a network drive and called as R:\ in the LOCAL list) is not seen either. If I want to call it as a PATH, what is the proper syntax? \\MyBookLive\Shared Videos does not seem to work.
Thanks in advance.
Thanks in advance.
Re: MKV Files do not display
The path looks ok. Make sure the service user has the access rights (see Faq)
