Panasonic ET5 a Serviio issues

Hi there,

Hopefully someone can help!

I have Serviio installed on an iMac running Lion. I also have the Panasonic ET5 TV. Both are on my wireless network via an Apple Airport Extreme.

Serviio sees the TV and it shows a Green status with the IP 192.168.1.7 and the Panasonic Viera E/S/ST/VT 2011 profile. The TV is seeing the Serviio server so I select it, go to the Video folder and then get the error message ' Connection to the server failed'

Any suggestions as to what the problem could be? Everything seems like it should work.

Cheers

Re: Panasonic ET5 a Serviio issues

can you try a different profile, like generic just to see if it's an issue with the panasonic profile?

Re: Panasonic ET5 a Serviio issues

Hello everyone,

This is my first visit to the forum. I have the Dutch nationality and live in Germany.
Yesterday I installed the Serviio Console on my PC (running on Windows 8 Pro). To my best knowledge I added some mediafolders (music and photo's) from my PC in the console.

My TV, a Panasonic Viera TX-L37ET5W, shows the yellow Serviio logo on its Media server. After opening it only shows the folders, but they do not open. In other words, I am unable to actually stream the content of the folders.

I'm sure I'm doing something wrong. Is there anyone who can get me a step further.
Thanx for answering.

Ronaldini
