External srt subtitle doesn't show on my L42E6

The movie file plays fine, just the external srt subtitle (English, exact same name) doesn't show on my L42E6 TV. The subtitle has no problem because it shows on PC when I play the movie. Does it need special format or encoding or something? The movie is not transcoded (My NAS has no power to transcode anyway). Serviio uses generic profile for my L42E6 (i suppose there is no specific profile for this model yet?).

Further test: The same movie and subtitle can show if on USB key plugs into TV, but if via Serviio, no subtitle, only movie plays. The TV says 'no suntitle'. What could be the problem?

I have tried UTF8 or other encoding, it doesnt matter on USB key. If the right code page is selected the subtitle can be displayed correctly. But via Serviio, it just says 'no subtitle'.
