Problems with Serviio and Panasonic TV LED 3D TX-L37ET5

Hello!

I happen to have some problems with Serviio and my Panasonic TV LED 3D TX-L37ET5....I tried doing lots of things, nothing works.

1 - My newest problem is, that my TV doesn't find seervio media center, it does pop up on the TV Screen, but when I select it, "connection to server failed".
Yesterday I was watching a movie and this didn't happen. I terminated the server with seervio, relaunched the Internet....nothing seems to work.

2- Yesterday when it worked fine, I was watching a mkv movie, that has 3Gb. After each 8-10 min the movie stopped. The seervio server disappeared. I had to wait for seervio to pop up again on the tv screen, restart the movie and shuffle to the time where I was....this happened like 10 times! (pretty annoying whatching a movie like this....)

i've made a screen shot from the seervio console...Am I doing something wrong?!

thank you in advance...I am so disappointed that this tv can't play "mkv x264. files" from the USB stick... that was my wish with a new TV. I thought seervio could save me with this, but man it's complicated.

This looks like a network problem. Are you on wifi? If yes, try to run a cable. If you already are on cable the disconnects might be caused by a dodgy router.

I agree it sounds like a network issue. Sounds like his IP address is getting lost, and it seems to be the TV that is losing it, since it can't find the Internet either.

I personally don't think Serviio is complicated at all. However, troubleshooting network issues (which have nothing to do with Serviio) can be difficult for people without training or understanding of how networks work. That's nothing personal, networks can be a bugger sometimes, even with training.

Re: Problems with Serviio and Panasonic TV LED 3D TX-L37ET5

thx for the answer guys!

about the cable...you mean from my PC to the TV ? I have a strange issue with my printer as well, it keeps losing the IP so I am guessing the router is the bad guy here... how do I stabilize the IP?

so my options seem to be buying a cable or a DLNa device? :)
