Serviio console cannot see devices

Hi,
I have installed serviio 1.2.1 on my Synology following the installation guide, then I installed the console on my Windows 8 PC. When I run the console it can only see 3 devices, my PC, the router and a device at iP 10.0.0.14 - rather oddly this device doesn't appear on our router network map and no other device can see this ip. Despite refreshing, and changings to the firewalls (windows, router and synology) and then turnning off the firewalls and virus protection (on PC, router and synology), the device list does not change.

I am unable to see Serviio from any device to play media.

So I then installed serviidroid on my samsung tablet and the same issue, it only sees the three devices listed above and I cannot run any media through serviio from any device (PC, iOS/windows/android phones & tablets - we don't have a TV so can't try this one!)

Any suggestions greatly appreciated, I have read the forum and several other tech websites but been unable to find a solution.
