Syno 4.3 & Unable to add new Dirs to Library

So before I uninstall and re-install I figured I would check to see if anyone has a solution for me. I recently added a new volume (volume2) to my syno and want to move some of my media file there because it has more space. I tried and every time I add the paths ( /volume2/video for exmaple) two things happens. First the last character is stripped from the path when it is displayed in the Folder table on the Library page. I have tied adding a space or trailing / and neither seems to help. So the last character is stripped and once i click save in the bottom right corner it says saved then refreshes and the new path is no reflected. I figured ok, maybe its just a php/web interface issue. So I downloaded the serviio for windows (1.3.1) and pointed it to the syno. It fails after 30sec saying it can't connect tot he server. The odd thing is, Serviio is working. I can watch videos on my ps3 or tv. So any thoughts before I try re-installing serviio on my syno?

1. Upgraded to Syno DSM 4.3 a few weeks ago.
2. Serviio 1.2.1 installed with web interface
3. Edited the library.php file to add the "add path" button back based on other posts on this forum
4. Tried connecting from my windows pc by addeding "-Dserviio.remoteHost=10.0.0.6" the the ServiioConsole.exe.vmoptions file.

Issues:
1. Can't add new paths to Library
2. Can't connect from local PC console

Trouble Shooting Efforts thus far:
1. Edit library.php to add the "add path" button back
2. Verified permission on folders. (also tried creating a new folder on /volume1/ just to ensure it wasn't a volume2 issue and the same behavior persists
3. Stopped / Started serviio on synoology
4. verified the IP of the syno .6 and ensured no firewall or blocks are showing up
5. Edited both Batch and vmoptions file, neither allow me to connect to the remote server
6. Using ServiiDroid I can connect to seviio and see my settings. When I i try to add a path there or go to advanced settings and click library i get "Failed To Connect". Update.... If I try several times I can get it to take net settings from my droid. Honestly I don't need to update the library paths often so I am not freaking out but I really can't explain the behavior.
7. I can't change the file types each folder has (video, audio, images) in the web console. I change the check boxes and click save and the settings are not saved.

Also... Attached is what happens from the web ui before I click save. Note the sections in Red.

I'd persist with the Windows console version to rule out the WebUi - if it then turns out to be that, report it to the WebUi developers.
So I downloaded the serviio for windows (1.3.1) and pointed it to the syno.
Your server is running 1.2.1 correct - the console version must also be 1.2.1. Download the 1.2.1 version from http://download.serviio.org/releases/se ... -setup.exe.

Re: Syno 4.3 & Unable to add new Dirs to Library

Well that was simple.... Thanks a ton for the suggestion. I should have thought about the version mismatch. Installed 1.2.1 locally and the console works. I'll just use it instead of the website for any time i need to update the library. Thanks again.

Time to notify the webui devs.
