Serviio vs Synology DLNA

I'm new to serviio so please forgive me for asking this newbie question. Why would one want to use Serviio over the dlna media server that comes with DSM? The media server on my Synology seems to work fine.

Serviio adds additional features your current server doesn't offer, if your happy with the feature set you have, as you say, why change.
