Having a problem with streaming MP3s to ServiiGo, and was hoping to get help fixing it.
Short synopsis: Serviio Pro 1.1 installed, transcoding enabled and set to subdirectory of System temp directory. ServiiGo 2.0.3 installed on Note 2 device; can login and browse content fine. Local testing with Wi-Fi enabled produces good playback of either audio or video content.
My problem is occurring when I switch to the 3G network and attempt to stream anything. My carrier has less than stellar 3G speeds, and I've tried unsuccessfully to get Serviio to transcode content so it has a smaller bitrate. Any stream I attempt while on 3G starts, stops, starts, and continues that way acting like it is constantly buffering a large file. Occasionally it will stop trying and produce the red Unknown Error message, like the stream transfer failed.
I've toggled transcoding on as mentioned, and attempted to put the 'aBitrate' flag in the appropriate place for ServiiGo (within the application-profiles.xml file) and restart Serviio's service, but nothing seems to work. I watch when I start a stream, and no files ever show up in the transcoded files location set for Serviio. That tells me it isn't transcoding the MP3s, and the bitrate is still at default (192?). I really need to downsample for 3G with ServiiGo, but am apparently failing at the task.
Help would definitely be appreciated.
