Start Application on Launch & Minimize to System Tray

I would like to request an option that allows the application to start automatically when the operating system launches, and run minimized in the system tray instead of opening the main window.

This feature would be very useful for users who want the application to work in the background without interrupting their workflow. Ideally, these options could be configurable via the application settings, such as:

- Start application on system startup
- Launch minimized to system tray
- Option to restore the app from the tray icon

This is a common and expected behavior for background or utility applications, and it would greatly improve the overall user experience.

Thank you for considering this request.

Re: Start Application on Launch & Minimize to System Tray

On my computers (both now on Windows 11) the Serviio service starts automatically, which is all that is needed. The console does not need to be running to use Serviio. What you have asked for already exists. For Mac and Linux I believe you have to edit a specific file that tells the OS to run Serviio at startup, I don't think installing Serviio will do that automatically.
