Resume from RSS Feeds

Sometimes the internet craps out while in the middle of a TWIT SHOW since these shows run 45 minutes to 2 or 3 hours. When I get d/c'ed I need too start over from scratch.

I imagine something like this should work. When I'm streaming video to my phone I can jump around. It isn't instant but I can click on the bar and it'll start playing from that location.

I was thinking an option that PS3 Media center has is like a #chapters folder. where you can find the current video and choose in like 5 minute intervals how much time to skip ahead.

Since I donno how much the skip ahead button on my samsung bluray player would work since you need to keep rebuffering everytime I would jump ahead.

One option might be to as your watching the video download it 100% to the hard drive so seeking becomes easier. The Playon media server used too offer this. I would start playing on my old XBOX and then pause it and let some of video buffer on the server side, before hand and then start playing.

Keep up the good works zip. Wish I could help code or something I've messed with C++ and SDL but only made a small game that had some ships shooting at each other. And it ran like poo. Thats why I never released it.

I posted this sepperate cause FF and REW kinda work on most of the other videos. At least on my blu ray player, I have the jump ahead button that works on 90% of the videos. I have some bad mkvs to remux.

I'm sorry if this is still considered a duplicated thread. I thought since it pertained to just the online feeds it'd be okay.

ffwd, rew and resume are controlled by the renderer and not serviio.
