Accsessing U.S. Netflix outside of the U.S.
Good Morning Everybody!
Seahawks signing on. New user and certainly impressed so far! I have scoured these forums but couldn't find anything so here goes...
Here is the issue in a nutshell. In Canada, we can't access US Netflix and Canadian Netflix is lame. I use a VPN (Virtual Private Network) software called HMA to change my IP address location to that of the USA, resulting in US Netflix on my laptop. Works really well. Now perhaps it's rather in the grey shades of the terms and conditions of Netflix, but that's a topic for another discussion!!
I open my browser and Sign In to Netflix.ca, I open HMA and connect to the VPN and then simply refresh Netflix, and Bob's your Uncle - I'm in to US Netflix!
Question is, Can I get it to run through Serviio to the TV?
I assume I would use the Online Sources Tab in the Library, but I don't know what to do from that point. Clicking the Add Button brings up a window with the following headings: 1. Source Type 2. Source URL 3. Display Name 4. Media Type 5. Thumbnail URL
How do I populate those headings with the proper information to get Netflix to the TV?
Thanks in advance of any kind person willing to help a non-techie dope like me (which causes me much distress in being so, I might add!), in solving this issue!
