New install, strange behaviour

I have been using Serviio for some time now across multiple devices with no problems whatsoever :)

(given there are so many variations on hardware & OS has to say something about how good serviio is :))

Anyway today i encountered a strange problem.

I recently bought a synology NAS, and moved all my media to there.

I rebuilt my XP system, following a hard drive crash, so had to reinstall everything.

ON XP & Win 7, i can see the NAS and go straight to it

However when i try to access via my XBOX i need to use serviio, which ordinarily is no problem.

However now the Xbox sees serviio, The top level folders \\diskstation\movies\mpeg, but cannot see any of the genre folders below that.

If i change a folder permission to view, it appears immediately, but cannot see individual files

(its almost as if the library hasnt been scanned / built) the check box just shows 2 red lights for files and updates

Any ideas

Re: New install, strange behaviour

Well somthing went wrong..

It all worked ok for a while, then it had a bit of a hissy fit with XBMC, so i had to reformat the NAAS drives and start agian...

Again i got the no see/ scanning error, but i cant seem to resolve it.

I have a user on the NAS called admin, has my password etc, but still the nas dosent see it.

Any ideas
