Can the MediaBrowser control a remote rednerer?

I've been running serviio server (Linux) for a while now. Still the non-pro version.
I've seen mention of your MediaBrowser front end.
Can it control a remote renderer? Or only operate inside the browser?
I have a need to be able to browse my DLNA sources (serviio) to generate things like play lists and such.
Then, have those play list play on various remote devices around my house.
I've not been able to find anything that can do that. Or, I'm just not doing the right searches.
So... an MediaBrowser do this? If not, do you know a web-based app that can?

Cheers
Shane.

MediaBrowser can't do it, it's not a controller.
