Issue with roku ultra no longer showing serviio

My last resort was to revert the media server back to an older disk image. I have one that's a couple weeks old back to over a month old. Then at least I can maybe see if it's the media server itself due to some update.

Seems the issue was my network switch in my living room. I bought a new one, replaced the one in my office. It still had issues. Then I took the old one from my office and swapped out the one in my living room. Now serviio shows up after opening media player within a couple seconds.

Before that, I had disabled the onboard network card in my serviio pc and installed a spare pcie card I had. Didn't help.

Both network switches were netgear gs108's. This is the second one I've had die on me in my living room in 4 years. The new one I bought this time was a gs308.

Nice job troubleshooting. Yeah, inexpensive networking equipment can fail in strange ways. I used to depend on Netgear, but they seem to have quality issues lately. And I'm never buying anything TP-Link again, as my 802.11ac access point is slower than most .11n connections. My Ultra has a faster Ethernet connection than wireless, which should not be the case at all.
