Ubuntu 12.04 | Serviio 1.2.1 | No connection
Good day all,
First of all I want to thank ZIP for developing this fantastic tool and you for making time to read my question.
I downloaded the Linux tar.gz-file from serviio.org.
I untarred the file in ~/Serviio. All necessarily applications are installed.
I added ~/Serviio/serviio.sh to the start-up-programs. After a restart serviio is started (ps aux | grep serviio).
I do not see any errors in the log files.
My Samsung TV, my Android devices (AnDLNA) do not register the serviio server.
My TV is cabled with my router. For sure the desktop and TV are in the same network.
If I open Serviio console, I see that my Samsung TV has been registered. I changed the profile to Samsung C/D/E, but this does not help. The status is 'unknown'.
In the console the network settings are set as IP-address (not automatically detected).
Does anyone know what could be wrong.
I know this is very little information, but I really have no clue.
The only thing I can think of is a chmod/chown issue. I untarred the files as user and root wants access. On the other hand, root is root
I attached the logfiles (serviio and derby (derby is the 'webserver', right?)). The logfiles below are created after the following:
I stopped the service (sudo stop serviio)
I deleted the log files (rm ~/Serviio/log/*)
I started serviio (sudo start serviio)
The log files atached is the result.
Thank you in advance,
Ramin
