Live stream desktop to TV

Hi,

I am trying to stream my desktop on to my tv.

I tried the below,

1) Captured and streamed desktop to http source using vlc.
2) Added live stream source to serviio online resources.

The problem is that i could play the online stream source in my another pc/mobile.
But serviio is not picking up the source.

Can you please let me know a way to display my desktop on to my TV. All the comments are appreciated.
Btwn serviio is a awesome piece of software. It is much better than many stupid applications that come with my TV for which they charge such huge amounts.

HI,

I am able to stream now after selecting the transcoding format MPEG2.
But with no audio

Anyways i will work on it too .. i didn't use virtual audio capture grabber will try that.
Was trying to find anything simpler.

I have a small question :: I am not able to see my mouse pointer, does any one of you know why??
