did Global Protect disconnect my serviio

I have a Sharp Aquos and a Samsung BlueRay set up on another Sharp TV. Everything was working 100% - i could see my pictures from my PC via Serviio on the Sharp Aquos and i could view my pictures on the 2nd TV via the BlueRay. Then i dowloaded the upgrade because a new version was available and i thought it would keep all my user settings and not remove anything. Then i had to install a VPN to my work computer with Global Protect. Now i cant see any pictures on either TV. Is it because is downloaded the new version or did the Global Protect mess things up. If i remove my VPN Global Protect, will Serviio be working again? My serviio status is running but my TVs cannot find the server.
