Serviio not recognise Title with foreign characters

I've been using FileBot to scan my tv series and look up the correct names and episode numbers to help improve serviio find them

Filebot uses theTVdb to lookup the episode names etc, and I believe serviio always uses theTVdb (might be wrong but thought I read it somehwere?)
Anyway, filebot renames them and sometimes includes foreign characters such as
Hannibal - 1x01 - Apéritif
and serviio just seems to ignore this file completely.

Is there anyway around this without removing all foreign characters?

Re: Serviio not recognise Title with foreign characters

it will probably be something related to the different Locale settings on Linux / Windows.

There are some tips on how to get it working on Linux in the FAQ.

Re: Serviio not recognise Title with foreign characters

Also you can make filebot ASCII-fy filenames for most compatibility. Just edit the format and use the ascii() function.
