IP addresses incorrect recognition
My TV is on a LAN behind a Freebox (ADSL router).
But instead of recognizing my TV as a Samsung TV, Serviio plays on it as Generic profile. In fact Serviio has a bad interpretation of LAN packets and takes my router (and its IP address) for the TV itself.
This has been discussed with Wireshark traces etc. in the following topic (near a year ago):

All information you need are still avalilable there, especilly the trace where confusion between addresses are probable.
Since last year nothing has been fixed about this issue and my router (factory fixed IP 192.168.27.14) is still identified as a Samsung TV, and the TV (fixed IP 192.168.0.30) isn't identified at all.
One of the consequences last year was the fact that srt subtitles were'nt visible.
Today with the 1.3.1 release, the TV is still not recognized but srt subtitles are displayed ... unfortunately IN THE MIDDLE OF THE SCREEN.
A bit weird and definitely not visisble more than 5 minutes.
(From a USB device with srt subtitles my TV plays the movie normally as it has to do)
Regards
