an unexpected error occurred (500). Check the log

I am using Serviio 1.3.1 for Mac OSX. I recently ran Apple's Disk utility and "Repaired Permissions." This was in an attempt to get an install of iTunes to complete. Afterwards my Serviio installation stopped working. The Symptoms are "Playback unavailable" on my Sony Bravia TV. In the Serviio Console on the Mac, if I try to save a change to the Library I get the message "an unexpected error occurred (500). Check the log"

So far I have
reinstalled Java
reinstalled Serviio

Any help would be gratefully received.

you need to provide the log
