No files appearing in Serviio Server on Panasonic S60

Hi,

I have looked through the forums to the best of my ability to see if anyone has had the same issue with no luck.

I have recently built a PC (Asus EEE box, Intel Atom 2550) and done a fresh install of Ubuntu 13.10 with the idea of setting up a DLNA streaming server.

I have downloaded Serviio 1.4 and have loaded the Server and Console via terminal.

I have install FFmpeg, and put a number of mp4 and mkv videos in my "Videos" folder in Ubuntu (which I have share fully with read and write access), which playback fine on the unit itself and I can access and playback from a Windows 7 PC on my network.

In Servvio, I have specified to "add local" and added the "videos" folder that I have setup with sharing. I have transcoding selected (though I'd think this wouldn't make a difference). I have tried the 2011 Panasonic S series profile, and the generic profile.

When I go to access Serviio from my Panasonic Viera 42S60 TV DLNA client it finds the Serviio Server and can see what looks like a standard folder structure (titles, movies, series, rated etc.) but each of the folders are empty and the videos in my shared folder in Ubuntu are not visible.

Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong here?

Thanks in advance,

Kevin
