Trouble playing video on vizio tv

I have a wd live duo containing music, pictures, and video. PC is running serviio. I have a Vizio tv.

On the serviio console, I see the vizio tv and set the profile of the ip address to vizio tv.

From the Vizio tv, I can see the Serviio dlna.

I can see and play the movies on the vizio tv::serviio dlna.

On the vizio tv::serviio dlna, I can see the movies but I cannot play any of the movies. For some reason, there is a .mpg appended to every movie (flight.avi.mpg, flight.mkv.mpg, etc.). Also, I can't see my pictures but this is less important. I'd really like to be able to play my movies from the serviio dlna on the vizio tv.

I also have a wdlivetv. For kicks, I setup serviio profile for the wdlivetv. From wdlivetv::serviio dlna, I can play movies fine.

Any ideas why my vizio can't play movies? How do I remove the extra .mpg suffix? The files on the server don't have it. They just have flight.avi

I'm also having the same issue with Vizio TV adding .mpg to each file name and not being able to open any of them. I get the same result with Direct TV and LG TV profiles.

Switching to Sony Bravia 2013 helps a little, but it hides all mkv files and sometime it supports .mp4 or .avi, but sometimes not.

I just updated to Serviio Pro 1.4
