Freeze during playback of online video

My apologies if this has been asked before (and frankly I hope it has, just point me to the discussion).

I've been using Serviio for some time now to stream online video (specifically, from cbs.com) to my Sony Blu-Ray player. Usually this works just fine, I don't have any issues with choppy playback or any of that.

What does happen periodically is that playback will just stop, and then after several seconds it will skip to the next list entry (usually the next older episode). Sometimes I can go back to the original episode and FF back to the point where it froze, sometimes not.

What causes this? If it's a buffering issue, I wouldn't mind if playback would just pause until it could continue again. It's the skipping forward that annoys me.

The skipping to the next video is generally controlled by your device. Search for an option to "Automatically play next video" or something like that.

Suspect that the first video is transcoded, and is not keeping up/fails for whatever reason. This causes it to stop, and the next video starts to play (as above, controlled by your device) - if this next video requires transcoding, a new transcode job is started killing the first one (which is why you cannot resume or FFWD back to it). Turning off the option above should help this.

Makes sense. I couldn't find anything like "Automatically play next video", though.
