remote console linux

Having problems using console on my remote Linux mint machine after reinstall of OS.
Use to be able to use ver. 1.31 connecting to server with newest version.
Have changed javaopts in bin/console.sh, but nothing happens when trying to start.

Re: remote console linux

you have to edit then on the console side, to tell the console where is the server you want to connect to

Re: remote console linux

Yes thats what I Mean, java opst With
My serveradress

JAVA_OPTS="-Dserviio.home=$SERVIIO_CONSOLE_HOME -Djava.net.preferIPv4Stack=true -Dserviio.remoteHost=192.168.2.10"

looks ok?

by the way, the link on your site about setting up console > remote server is dead.

If you are having difficulties to connecting to Serviio on Linux, this article on forum might help.

Re: remote console linux

It looks fine. I assume 192.168.2.10 is the server's IP.

Do you have java installed on the client? is there something in the console log?

Re: remote console linux

per bin # ls
serviio-console.sh serviio.sh
per bin # bash serviio-console.sh
Error: Could not find or load main class filer.serviio-1.4.1.2
per bin #

is what it says when trying to start in terminal. No log file...
