Cannot get Serviio to recognise a movie

I am trying to get serviio to recognise correctly The Mummy - Tomb of the Dragon Emperor. I have tried the alternatives that Tmdb suggests but still serviio cant either name it or get the correct thumbnail for it, any help will be greatly appreciated. I have the other two movies as well but the third movie is the problematic one, as all play ok. Tmdb does recognise it as The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor but windows filenaming convention does not allow the colon : to be used
Re: Cannot get Serviio to recognise a movie
Usually with names that have a colon, Filebot simply removes the colon without replacing it with anything else. Also, do you have the year in parentheses at the end of the name? Sometimes that does the trick as well. Since I have several videos with the same name that were released in different years, sometimes its mandatory.
If you haven't tried using Filebot to name you files, I strongly suggest doing so. If you are using Windows, you can't beat it, and it's free! http://www.filebot.net/

Re: Cannot get Serviio to recognise a movie
I do use filebot and have tried with and without the year in brackets too, but still no joy whatsoever. I can only think its 1 of 2 things either Tmdb not passing the correct details to serviio or Serviio not correctly identifying it imho
Re: Cannot get Serviio to recognise a movie
The Mummy Tomb of the Dragon Emperor (2008) worked for me. Note - no hyphens or colons in the file name (anything after the hyphen is often ignored by Serviio). Also make sure your looking under "M"
(the "The" at the beginning of a movie title is ignored when sorting and cataloging movies).

Re: Cannot get Serviio to recognise a movie
I was looking under M. The fact that both the original mummy in the same series and the totde have both the same thumbnail and metadata but when played are their respective movies
[SOLVED] Re: Cannot get Serviio to recognise a movie
I had forgotten to mention all 3 movies were in the same folder, but since splitting them it all appears to work now, but yet I have other movies in the same folder but they appear correctly but just this one eludes for some strange reason, anyway problem resolved
Re: Cannot get Serviio to recognise a movie
Glad you got it working. Strange though - were there any other files in the folder (.jpg or .nfo perhaps)?
Re: Cannot get Serviio to recognise a movie
No, no other files at all, just the 3 mkv files
