Serviio Stopped Working on my WDTV Live

All of a sudden, over the last 2 or 3 weeks, Serviio stopped showing up on my WDTV Live. I can access my files on the WDTV Live through network shares but not through the media server option. Serviio shows my WDTV as inactive when it is running.

I have been running Serviio for about 3 or 4 months without any major problems. I have been reading about the bound ip address solutions. It appears the bound ip address is the ip of my server, but I am not sure where I would go to change it if that is wrong.

Nothing else has changed with my system, so I'm not sure what I am missing. Can anyone help me troubleshoot this?

I had the same issue last evening. I am running serviio on WHS2011 and it just stopped working and was not available on any DLNA client (I use WDTV Live and PS3s). The log file didn't indicate anything strange and appeared to be running according to the add-in. When I manually stopped the server (via add-in interface) and restarted it solved the issue. I will dig up the exact log file and post it when I am home.

DrDigital have you found a fix to this? I have upgraded to version 1 and just now the server randomly became unavailable. It's as if it just stops and the WDTV just backs out of the stream.

Ok, after some playing around, I think I have figured out the issue.

I tried downgrading the WDTV Live, and the disconnections have stopped. Seems that there is something in the newer firmwares that must have changed the way they handle streams from servers that appears incompatible with serviio currently. I have version 1.06.04 installed on the WDTV box at the moment and it's working perfectly

Not tried others yet, will upgrade in order of versions and when the disconnections start appearing I'll just stick to the previous one.

Any chance anyone could see what has changed in the WDTV firmware to cause these issues with serviio?

Ok, after upgrading to the next firmware, the problem has returned.

It seems something has changed in the WDTV firmware going from 1.06.04 to 1.07.15.

I can see serviio on an external PC browser, but the WD TV never sees it.
