Can't select Retrieve Descriptive Metadata

Hey,

I have something a little odd happening when trying to select the Retrieve Descriptive Metadata. No matter which line I'm on, I can't either check or uncheck the checkbox for it.

In the screenshot below, you can see where I have added a different path for the shared folder for Music which I moved over to my E: drive where I first noticed this issue.



Using Stablebit's DrivePool, the E: drive is actually a pooled drive of D: and F:. Screenshot below.



Anyway, my first thoughts were that Serviio didn't like the pooled drive. However, as I mentioned before, I was unable to select/deselect any checkbox for the Retrieve Descriptive Metadata column in the Shared Folder Rows no matter the line I was on.

Any ideas on how to resolve? Thanks.

It will only be selectable for folders where you share Videos. There are no descriptive metadata for music files, other than the embedded data (which you get always)

First, thanks for the response! Yea, I was holding off on moving my Videos shared folder until I had tested how the Music share folder went. Not being able to select/deselect anything for that entire column of rows was disconcerting.

It sounds like the Music folder will pick up jpgs for the covers of album if there. So, that's on me to supply it.

Anyway, I'll try later on this week to do a move of the Video shared folder to the E: drive and hope that I'm able to check the Retrieve Metadata for that new path in Serviio. I can move always move it back to the D: drive if I'm unable to do this.

I have 8 hard drives in my media server, and use seven of them for Serviio. No problem with the metadata on any of them. You shouldn't have a problem.
