Filenames with russian letters do not appear in the library

I use 1.4.1.2 on linux.
Media files containing russian letters in path do not appear in the library, they do not appear in log files either.
Please help diagnose.

Try set JAVA_TOOL_OPTIONS to -Dfile.encoding=UTF-8 in the environment variables
