Movies Don't Display in the Serviio Television Library

I installed version 1.5.1 on 2/27/2015, then added new movies to the movie folder on my iMac (my local library). However, those movies did not appear in "Video/Folders/Movies" in the Serviio application on my LG television; instead, I received an error message (see attachment). As suggested by the site admin, I reinstalled the Serviio app on my iMac; that seemed to solve the problem.

However, on 2/28/2015, I moved several movies to a common category folder on my computer (/Volume/Movies/Classics/Comedy/Doris Day); none of those movies showed in the Serviio app on my television. To get those movies to display on my television, I performed three action on the Serviio-Console:
1. On the "Status" tab, I clicked "Refresh."
2. On the "Library" tab under "Shared Folder," I unchecked, then rechecked the "media file" image (the film strip image) which automatically unchecked and rechecked the "folders" image (the image with an M) (see the attachments).
3. Then I pressed "Save" on the "Library" tab.

One or a combination of those action caused the movies to display in the Serviio app on my television.

A point: In version 1.4.1.2, all I had to do was either add or rearrange movies and they automatically displayed in the Serviio app on my television. A question: Does version 1.5.1 require users to perform one or both of the actions I indicated above to get movies to show in the television Serviio app?

I've tried to be as clear as possible in this message. If I have failed in that effort, please request clarification. Your help will be appreciated.
