Metadata options keep re-ticking themselves

In the Serviio console all the options in the Metadata tab keep re-ticking themselves after I restart the computer, and I can see in the logs that Serviio continues to look for and add metadata info for my media.

Is there a way to stop this? I don't use the web interface or need this metadata so thought that having it all un-ticked would speed up the process of adding media to my database, especially when building a new database.

To check to obvious first:

• you are pressing the Save button after unchecking the Metadata options?; and
• you are also unchecking the Metadata tickbox against all your shared folders (the "M" symbol) on the Library, Shared Folders tab (and pressing Save)?

<Edit> - actually, you only really need to do the second dot point to stop Metatdata collection.

The save button is actually not available after unticking the metadata options so I was just unticking and ticking something else on another tab to make the save button available, however I did not untick the metadata tickbox against the shared folders, silly me!
