M3u and Tv
I have a tv (non a smart-tv) wich support dlna. There's a way to open a dlna server in linux and have possibility to see a m3u playlist on tv? I've installed serviio on my linux distro and i have enabled it and start the server. I can see the server on tv but i don't know how to add a m3u playlist file. This m3u file is a playlist with a list of tv channels. The file is like this:
#EXTM3U
#EXTINF:-1,Rai 1 HD
http://My_Site.ts
#EXTINF:-1,Rai 2 HD
http://My_Site2.ts
#EXTINF:-1,Rai 3 HD
http://My_Site3.ts
When i open serviio i can add a path for library with sharing folder. I've put m3u file in the shared folder but i can't see anything on tv when i go to the dlna and i choose the folder on tv. My solution was to choose online font and add manually one by one the channels url ( 20 channels for example.)
So there's a way to add only the single m3u file without add manually all urls? last thing. The stream on tv is very slow and sometimes crash. Server problem? The stream is perfect on pc and smartphone. On tv is slow, very slow. Server problem or my connection? I've a 7 mbps adls connection. The m3u file works great using it directly on pc or smartphone without stuttering.
