Apple TV, PCs and Servo
I am currently running Serviio on a PC that has my movie collection connected via USB from a 3 TB WD external drive. I am using a WDTV media player to view my movies on TV. I am having little problem with anything except my WDTV player. I am thinking about buying an Apple TV, so my question is this...
Can I Keep my PC set up, with Serviio and my external drive, and plug my Apple TV into the network, where I currently have my WDTV media player, and still be able to watch my movies via my PC set up, without any problems?
Someone told me that the Apple TV will not read movies from a PC, however the Apple TV would not be directly plugged to the PC, they are connected via my router.
Thoughts?
