Serviio Console won't open on IMac

Hi I have downloaded Serviio for mac and paid for the premium version. However, Serviio console will not open. The application is in the applications area but when I try to open it...nothing. It says it's open (at the top of the screen) but there is nothing. I am not a developer or programer so have been unable to follow the threads that have all the code cut and pasted (don't even know where I find it). Can someone help please!

If you right-click on the icon in the Dock, is there an option to Open the console?
