Video streaming freezes

Hi. This is my first post.

I am running the latest version of Serviio on a Windows 7 laptop with an i3 processor and 4Gb RAM.
My media files are on an external HDD connected to the laptop by USB2.
Transcoding is to the laptop hard drive.
I stream media to a Sony Bravia TV using Comtrend Powerline Ethernet Adapters.
Streaming movies (MKV mainly) the stream often freezes.
If I pause the stream…then resume it plays for a few seconds … then freezes.

HELP! What can I do to resolve this?

Microsoft has some TCP defaults that can effect throughput. See the referenced thread. http://forum.serviio.org/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=18489. Changes to the defaults may help.
