Serviio not visible to wi-fi

OK I should put this in general but there is more action here.

This is not a Serviio malfunction. It's runs fine (current ver1.52). I
believe it to be a router problem but it Kills Serviio. If Serviio is on
a wired connection, no wi-fi devices can see it.

They can ping the wired computer, transfer files from it or even use
ServiioDroid to control it. Just NO DLNA.

The culprit: The Pace 5031-30nv RG and a new upgrade 10.
My hope is to provide preemptive info and maybe get a fit-it tip.

This is important because in the US there are a boatload of these
devices out-there. They are the favored RGs for AT&T replacing the old
2-Wire and Motorola 510s. They are now being used as a replacement by
CenturyLink to replace Actiontecs. They have never been PnP friendly but
worked fine for DLNA.

Symptom: Wired ethernet and wi-fi on the same nat are isolated. It's not
a port issue but maybe multicast or igmp proxy?? Even using wiershark I
can't isolate the problem.

Lame work around: Since I could see Buble-Up's server on devices; I put my
computer (running Ubuntu 14.04-2/ Serviio 1.52 or 1.4) on wi-fi. This
crowded my n wi-fi but worked for now. In the future I may have to bring
my Nighthawk Router up to the cabin and have fun with DMZ. The Pace is
not bridgeable.

So folks with these RGs be prepared when you get the forced software
upgrade, there is nothing wrong with Serviio. Pace's response:”There is
nothing wrong with our RG. ISPs make adjustments from time to time, in
firmware, to meet their requirements:.
