Just one other question if you don't mind. Are the access groups linked to IP address or the device name? Just wondering if I'll need to manually set the IP addresses or continue using DHCP.

Many DHCP servers assign a given address for 7 days. You can probably adjust this in your router. You can also add a reservation to the DHCP server so it always assigns the same IP address. That's easier than setting static addresses on everything.
I've never had an issue with a device losing it's IP address on the network. Perhaps because everything on the network is fired up at least once before its assignment times out.
To answer your question, I believe they are linked to the IP address. Serviio doesn't recognize the MAC address, and not every device advertises itself accurately via DLNA.
