serviio stopped working out of the blue

hey guys, after trying basically everything i could think of without success.. i figured i would post here before ditching serviio for good.

i've been using serviio for a couple of days now, and i really started to enjoy it. until today, when it stopped loading my library folders. it just keep hanging with a "loading..." message. it worked perfectly this morning. then i watched a movie from a usb flash drive source on my tv, and after that i haven't been able to use serviio again. the tv is shown as "online" in the serviio interface on my mac, so i'm not sure where the problem is. i can also see serviio in my tv menu. but when i click on it, it's just "loading.." and nothing else.

any idea what it can be?
