Embedded Album Art not recognised
Hi
Just bought some Samsung multi-room speakers which I am really liking and Serviio seems to work best with the app for them.
However, one niggle........
Can't get the album art to show up.
I spent quite a but of time on my large and messy music collection before treating myself to the speakers tidying it up.
I first used musicbrainz to rename and metatag all of my music 120,000 files it took ages in 5000 file chunks! Anyway, all of that is now in a seperate folder and is in good order. I initially used MediaMonkey as my server of choice and it recognises the album art and and works fine but can be a bit buggy with the samsung multiroom software. So also tried Serviio which seems to work great and a bit more quickly. Only problem is that the album art contained in the tags MusicBrainz put on isn't showing up. I have looked on media browser and it also does not show up on that. I ticked the "include hidden files" bit in the library tab of the console and some bits of art did show up after that. On the Samsung app and media browser but not many, so obviously just rogue bits of artwork floating around. This is encouraging because it shows that the samsung app will show album art when it sees it but Serviio just doesn't seem to have catalogued it from the the embedded tags. However, MediaMonkey recognises it fine.
Any thoughts?
Feels like I am missing something simple.
Any help greatly appreciated.
Thanks
